Intel To Promote WiMAX in South-East Asia
October 07, 2005
Intel has initiated its Asian Broadband Campaign in South-East Asia to accelerate availability of WiMax in that area. Besides working with local governments, Intel has been seeking assistance from operators, health sectors, agriculture agencies, and channel players. Intel has already earned support from parties such as Thailand's True and Telekom Malaysia. These partners will help Intel with WiMax tests and trials, which will be implemented in Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines in late 2005 and later on in Vietnam and Indonesia in 2006.
